In „L’Oste“, we follow Diego Sorba, a host gone astray in the world of wine, food, landscapes and people. As an organizer and supporter of events that bring people together, he lives his culture with a strong focus on the origin and quality of every product and every moment.

We follow him to tell the stories of a lost romantic. A host not at home. And along the way we explore his world of wine and hospitality.

Our goal is to convey an appreciation for lifestyle and craftsmanship through images and words. To create a vivid feeling that carries a sense of ease, one that many of us have lost.

The stories are about the people and places we visit, anecdotes from Diego and his friends. A gentle touch of documentary and philosophy.

The narrative is divided into four chapters, „la ricerca“, „il servizio“, „lo sguardo“, „il sentimento“.

„La ricerca“

describes the active search for products of quality and craftsmanship as well as heritage and personality

“Il servizio”

shows Diego‘s way of bringing the set table to others. A heartfelt idea about host and guest.

“Lo sguardo”

reflects how Diego and his friends see and share the joy of a set table. Wine brings together food and friendship.

„Il sentimento“

is the soul behind it all. The people and their stories, thoughts and personalities.
